Strong social, almost no search
TheHub is a fast-growing B2B SaaS platform in the education space. Leads came from direct and social, and search traffic on Google and Bing was almost nonexistent despite well-optimized social channels.
The job: find the keywords buyers use when they are ready to evaluate, turn that intent into demos, and build topic authority behind it.
Three moves behind the results
Each move supported the next: search brought in buyers, display brought the warm ones back, and content made the whole thing easier to find.
Paid search that finds buyers
We tested high-intent keywords, layered LinkedIn and Google B2B audiences onto search, and used automated bidding aimed at a steady CPA.
- Buying keywords tested quickly
- LinkedIn and Google B2B audiences layered
- CPA target set for consistent bidding
Display prospecting and remarketing
Google standard and smart display prospected new audiences, and remarketing lists segmented by engagement brought warm visitors back.
- Segmented remarketing audiences
- Higher CPA targets for warm audiences
- Content used to build trust before the ask
- Visitors turned into qualified pipeline
Content and SEO
AI-assisted topic research filled content gaps, and technical fixes made the site faster and easier to crawl.
- Briefs and pillar content
- Anchor text and internal links tuned
- Page speed and mobile fixes
- Broken links, alt text and meta tags fixed
Test fast, bid smart, build authority
Most of the lift came from testing fast and watching the right signals: Quality Score, click-through rate, branded impression share, and bounce rate and time on site by keyword. We shifted budget to what converted and held a target CPA so bidding stayed consistent.
Content played the long game. AI-assisted briefs and pillar pieces filled topic gaps, and we built authority on Quora, Facebook, X, LinkedIn and Medium so the site earned visibility beyond paid.
Channels, research and tools behind the results
What you can steal
Layer audiences onto search
Adding LinkedIn and Google B2B audiences made keyword intent sharper.
Give automation a stable target
A steady CPA target gives automated bidding a clear signal to learn from.
Retarget with a different bid
Warm audiences justify higher CPA targets than cold prospects.
Fix the basics too
Page speed, broken links and missing meta tags quietly hold rankings back.

What I’ve seen over and over: B2B SaaS founders at $2M–$10M ARR don’t need more marketing activity. They need someone to identify which 20% of effort drives 80% of their pipeline, and build a system that compounds from there.
That’s exactly what the Algocentric GTM Growth Audit and fractional CMO engagement is built to deliver.
