Referral-led, invisible in search
Codify is a SaaS company whose leads came mostly from referrals. It had very few qualified leads from paid or organic search, so its search visibility was almost nonexistent .
The goal: expand SEM on Google Ads and Bing first, and build organic visibility as the second channel.
Three moves behind the results
Each move fed the next: paid search proved which keywords and messages worked, remarketing kept interest warm, and content built on what we learned.
Paid search, built for leads
A keyword strategy aimed at generating leads quickly, with audience tests to find qualified buyers at an efficient cost per acquisition.
- Audience tests for qualified leads
- CPA below market averages
- Multivariate landing page tests
Remarketing by funnel stage
Display and search remarketing tested several key messages, with audiences segmented by engagement and funnel stage: research, adoption and advocacy.
- Segmented by engagement
- Funnel-stage messaging
- Built around Google's automated bidding signals
- Messaging built for trust across the buying cycle
Content that earns traffic
Content angles addressed the emotional barriers to adoption, supported by AI research tools, topic gap analysis and clear briefs.
- Topic gap analysis
- Readability and title tag work
- Link building and site speed
- Embedded video and relevant statistics
Paid for speed, content for staying power
Paid search gave fast feedback on which keywords and messages produced qualified leads. We fed that into the content plan, and structured campaigns and audiences around signals Google's automated bidding uses, like device, location, time of day and search history, to keep cost per acquisition efficient.
On the organic side we wrote for the emotional barriers to adoption, mapped to each stage of the buyer's journey, then backed it with site speed improvements, outreach to bloggers and embedded video.
Channels, research and tools behind the results
What you can steal
Start paid, learn fast
Paid search shows which keywords and messages convert before you invest in content.
Segment remarketing by stage
Research, adoption and advocacy audiences need different messages.
Write for the objection
Content that answers the real objections behind adoption earns more than generic guides.
Run both channels together
Paid proves what works while organic compounds.

Book a callI’m Sergiy, founder of Algocentric Digital and a T2D3-certified fractional CMO. I’ve spent 12 years inside B2B SaaS marketing, from demand gen and paid media to full GTM strategy, working with companies at every stage from MVP to Series B.
What I’ve seen over and over: B2B SaaS founders at $2M–$10M ARR don’t need more marketing activity. They need someone to identify which 20% of effort drives 80% of their pipeline, and build a system that compounds from there.
That’s exactly what the Algocentric GTM Growth Audit and fractional CMO engagement is built to deliver.
